Hello!

I’m an Emergency physician who splits time between the resuscitation bay and the research bench. Some days I manage cardiac arrests and others I model cost-effectiveness. I completed a Master’s in Health Administration to better understand the systems behind the stretcher, and now focus much of my academic work at the intersection of clinical care, economics, and health policy.
I currently hold a Junior Clinical Research Chair in Emergency Medicine Health Economics at the University of Ottawa, where I lead research aimed at making emergency care better, faster and more sustainable.

I am driven by the goal to ensure that emergency care delivers the best possible outcomes for both patients and the health system.
